VINTON, LA—MAY 15, 2010—The top two qualifiers run head-and-head down the stretch before Jess Big Time got up by a neck over Clickitticket to win the $204,000 Lassie Futurity (RG2) for Louisiana-bred two-year-old fillies on Saturday evening at Delta Downs. Slinkys Easy Dash was another neck off the leaders for third.
Racing for Terry Bell of Lawton, Oklahoma, Jess Big Time is now two-for-two, the $92,205 winner check pushed her career earnings of just under $100,000. Heath Taylor saddled the daughter of first crop sire Bigtime Favorite out of the Mr Jess Perry mare, Jess Me Yall. The sorrel miss completed the 330 yards over a muddy race track in :16.747 seconds.
Bell purchased Jess Big Time in the LQHBA Yearling Sale last August for $30,000.
